About the Cadastral Maps

A cadastral map shows the boundaries of land parcels, plots, and ownership in detail. In Nepal, the Department of Survey prepares and maintains these sheets for land administration and record keeping. Each cadastral sheet carries a unique number, and that number is required to request the official blueprint of a land parcel through the Department of Survey online services. These maps are widely used by surveyors, landowners, lawyers, planners, and developers during land registration, plot verification, and project planning.
