Nepal Topo Maps

Browse and download topographic maps of Nepal directly on an interactive map. Nepal topographic maps are available in two scales, 1:50,000 and 1:25,000. The 1:25,000 scale is available mainly for the Terai and populated hilly regions. A few sheets may be missing here and there as the collection grows over time.

About Topographical Maps

These topographic base maps are produced by the Survey Department of the Government of Nepal, with technical cooperation from the Government of Finland. The 1:50,000 series covers the whole country, while the 1:25,000 series covers the Terai and the populated hill regions in detail. Each sheet shows contour lines at 10 metre intervals, roads, rivers, settlements, vegetation, and administrative boundaries. Surveyors, engineers, students, planners, and researchers use these sheets every day for design work, field verification, and studies.
